Add Formations, Constructors and Falloffs.
Where it is #
- Ordimus tab > Add Component
- Shift+A > Ordimus
- The top menu bar
Add Component works on the selected objects. The Text Generator makes its own object when nothing is selected.
The five categories #
| Category | Contents |
|---|---|
| Formations | Text Generator, Cloner, Ingestor |
| Constructors | Simple, Random, Step, Time, Push Apart, Target, Shader, Spline, Inheritance, Surface, Delay |
| Falloffs | Linear, Sphere, Box, Cylinder, Radial (presets of one Falloff component) |
| Shading | Color, Material |
| Helpers | Realize, Freeze |
What it does for you #
- Adds at the end of the stack. Components are added as Geometry Nodes modifiers at the bottom of the stack.
- Adds an Ingestor first when a constructor has no pieces. If the object has no Cloner, Text Generator or Ingestor, one is added before the constructor.
- Places a Falloff directly above the selected constructor. If no constructor is selected, it goes above the first constructor in the stack, or at the end.
- Puts Color in the material. Color is a shader node, so it goes into the active object’s material, not onto the stack. See Color and Materials.
If you see X, do Y
Adding a constructor does nothing? It has no pieces. Add an Ingestor, Cloner or Text Generator above it. After a Realize, add an Ingestor again.

Set the constructor’s Falloff Mode to Falloff and pick the Falloff’s name. See Falloffs and Names.
